BIOGRAPHY
John is a Costs Lawyer and founding director of NMH Costs. John has a varied costs practice that encompasses both the justification and opposition of costs. With 12 years’ experience in the costs arena, including 8 years as a qualified costs lawyer, John has amassed a wealth of knowledge of all things costs.
John worked for a nationally recognised costs firm for almost 12 years prior to founding NMH Costs Lawyers. During that tenure he had the opportunity to maintain a caseload of multi-track cases, specialising in costs arising out of high-value commercial litigation, catastrophic injury and medical negligence matters. John has significant advocacy experience having appeared at detailed assessment hearings, costs management hearings and application hearings.
John is also a qualified solicitor (admitted in 2021) and in his spare time, is an academic tutor on the Association of Costs Lawyers Training course. John is passionate about and committed to the next generation of costs lawyers and giving young people opportunities in the legal world.
John is a father of one and enjoys travelling and big days out with his family. An ardent football fan, John has a particular skill (or luck!) when it comes to fantasy football.
